All about Blood Pressure

All About Blood Pressure

What is blood pressure? Blood pressure is the force of your blood against your artery walls. When you have your blood pressure checked the reading has two numbers; one on top and one on bottom.

The top number is your systolic pressure. This is the force of your blood in your arteries when your heart beats. The bottom number is your diastolic pressure. This is the force of your blood in your arteries when your heart relaxes in-between beats.

Normal blood pressure would be a reading of 120/80 or lower. High blood pressure would be a reading of 140/90 or higher. If you have high blood pressure you are at a greater risk of a stroke or heart and kidney disease.

Many things can cause high blood pressure including physical inactivity, tobacco and alcohol use, stress and your diet. These are only a few things. Certain medical conditions and medications can also cause high blood pressure.

High blood pressure can cause your body to have certain effects. For instance it can cause a stroke. The high pressure can cause a weakened blood vessel to break causing it to bleed into the brain; thus leaving you with a stroke.

High blood pressure can also sometimes cause your blood vessels in your eyes to bleed or burst. If this happens your vision will be blurred or impaired and might even result in blindness. Another reason it is best to keep control on your blood pressure.

Along with a stroke or kidney disease high blood pressure can also cause a heart attack. Your arteries are what bring blood carrying oxygen to your heart muscle. If your heart is not getting enough oxygen you will experience chest pain. If the blood flow is blocked as well you will experience a heart attack.

Congestive Heart Failure is very common among people with high blood pressure. This is a very serious condition where your heart cannot pump enough blood to supply the needs of your body. It is never too late to start taking control of your health starting with your blood pressure.

Anyone can develop high blood pressure, even children. It is more common for African Americans to develop it. Many Americans will develop high blood pressure as they age but that doesn't mean it is healthy.

Obesity plays a role in high blood pressure. If you are over weight you are at a higher risk of having high blood pressure as well as a stroke or heart disease. Try to lose at least ten pounds and this will help lower your blood pressure significantly.

Eating a healthy diet is a great way to lower or control your blood pressure. Limit your intake of salt and sodium and introduce more fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet. Once you establish your healthy diet you will have less worry of developing high blood pressure.

You should always have your blood pressure checked at your regular doctor visits. If you have high blood pressure and are concerned you can easily monitor from home. If you do this you want to have your doctor look at your home monitoring device to help ensure it is effective and you are operating it correctly.

Keep track of your blood pressure readings so you can see what is helping and what isn't. Sometimes regular lifestyle changes alone won't help as much as they would combined with blood pressure medication. Your doctor will be able to tell you what the best option for your needs would be.

WHO IS ALLAH ? The answer is in this post.

THERE IS NO GOD EXCEPT ALLAH

and

Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him)

is

The Messenger of Allah

and

Jesus(Peace Be Upon him)

is

The son of Mary

and

A Messenger of Allah

and

Moses(Peace Be Upon him)

is

A Messenger of Allah

Who is Allah ? Allah is a composite Arabic Word for Al and iLah or "THE" GOD as opposed to "a" god. Now look at the back of your right hand. What you have staring back at you is how "ALLAH" is written in Arabic Script. Keep in mind that Arabic Script is written from right to left. The little finger represents the Arabic letter 'Alif' or the English letter "A" the next finger represents Arabic letter 'Lam' or the English letter "L" the middle finger also represents the Arabic letter 'Lam' or the English letter "L" the index finger represents the Arabic letter 'Alif' or the English letter "A" the thumb represents the Arabic letter 'Ha' or the English letter "H". There you have it. The Supreme Being "ALLAH" is the same Supreme Being "GOD" is the same Supreme Being "GOD ALMIGHTY" is the same Supreme Being "Jehova" is the same Supreme Being "The One True God" Don't let anybody tell you otherwise because THERE IS NO GOD EXCEPT ALLAH. Now you have good food for thought as to why normal people have four fingers and a thumb. Discuss it at the water cooler.

Advantages of Internet Banking

Advantages of Internet Banking

Is the nature of business forcing customers to use internet banking? Or, is there something in it for the customers? Indeed there are many advantages to doing internet banking.

1. It is easy to open an internet banking account. You sit, in the comfort of your home or office, and type in your answers to a few questions. You set up the security measures that will be used to access your account, like usernames, passwords, etc. Then, all you need to do is print off and sign a form to send in to complete the process.

2. Internet banking is cheaper. With the advantage of having no physical structure to keep up, virtual banks have low overhead. They can afford to cut you a break by offering higher interest rates on your savings. They will also offer lower overdraft fees. Even banks that are backed by physical buildings encourage online banking with free bill paying services.

3. Internet banking allows you to compare deals easily. You can go to different online banks and find out their interest rates and policies about checking and savings accounts. You can learn what credit cards they offer, and at what rates. You can compare loan terms. You can check with the FDIC to check the banks' credibility.

4. Internet banking customers can watch their daily balances. By going on the internet to the bank's website you can look at what is going on in your account any day or time. You can check your balance. You can find out if a particular check has cleared your account or see when automatic deposits are made. All these services make check bouncing nearly a thing of the past.

5. Your monthly statement can be reconciled by using your computer. You can download your bank data into a software program like Quicken or Microsoft Money. Then, with a few clicks of your mouse you can square up your account. Through your internet banking account, you can even see copies of checks you have written.

6. You have a better chance to catch fraudulent use if you have an internet banking account. When you check your debits and deposits, you will most likely notice if something is there that you did not do. If someone withdraws money from your account, you will know it as soon as you log on and look over your account. Then, you can work on correcting the situation long before you would even notice it with conventional banking.

7. Internet banking is much more convenient than traditional banking. You do not have to wait for the bank to open its doors. You do not have to drive to get there. If you are using internet banking for your office, you will not have to waste valuable time going to the bank. You can manage your funds anywhere, any time.

Internet banking is growing for a reason. People are getting accustomed to transacting business over the internet. They are enjoying the convenience and the control over their money that internet banking gives them.

The Truth About Online Surveys

The Truth About Online Surveys
Copyright © Abraham Adam
http://www.UMakeGoodMoney.com

There are over 500 online companies offering money for people who want to work from home doing surveys and earn a full-time income. Beware of such sites that promise you riches for nothing; they're a scam.

While there are some legitimate sites that pay a few dollars to take a ten minute survey, there are others that are not legitimate. Many of these sites simply exist to gather your personal information and sell it to telemarketing companies. A few of them are downright scams that require a "sign-up" fee in exchange for the privilege of working from home.

One of the sites I've run across is workfromhome4dollars.com. This site not only offers you "up to $75 an hour" for completing surveys in the privacy of your own home, it also advertises just about every "work from home" scam there is. Most of these schemes are aimed at women who are trying to make a few extra dollars while staying home with the kids.

I've written many articles about paid surveys and was happy to find that there are some legitimate companies out there on the internet. But I'm halfway intelligent and can usually smell a scam from a mile away (two miles on a clear day). And as soon as I clicked on workfromhome4dollars.com, the stench overwhelmed me.

P.T. Barnum said there is a sucker born every minute. Unfortunately, he was spot on in his assessment of human nature. Sadly, there are many predators out there who are only too glad to take someone's hard-earned money with the promise of a "get rich quick" scheme.

Workfromhome4dollars is only too glad to hook you up with surveys that promise to pay $5-$75 an hour. For $34.95, the site will direct you to a survey site where you can participate in surveys. What workfromhome4dollars.com doesn't tell you is that these sites can be accessed by any individual with internet experience without paying a dime.

In addition to offering "opportunity" for paid surveys, workfromhome4dollars.com offers other "opportunities" such as "typing from home," "medical transcription from home," "data entry from home" and other schemes aimed mostly at uneducated women. All of these "golden opportunities" cost the participant anywhere from $35 to $75 to enroll.

The site is merely a money making portal. Of all the sites on the internet I've investigated while researching this topic, this is the worst. I implore anyone who is interested in participating in paid surveys to beware of the following:

- Do not give out your credit card number, social security number or bank information to any online site.

- Beware of any site that promises "thousands of dollars a month" for working from home. I've done a lot of research into paid surveys; if it were that easy, no one would work outside the home.

- Do not pay "upfront" for the privilege of doing a survey. Legitimate companies will not ask for a fee.

- Paid surveys are a way to make supplemental income; not a living. You can expect to make maybe $200 a month doing this.

- Before signing up for any online survey site, do a little bit of research. The honest ones will tell you that you won't make a lot of money and will have stringent privacy policies.

- Do not, under any circumstances, ever participate in any survey about health insurance. I made this mistake once and now get about five calls a day from people trying to sell me health insurance.

- If you are participating in a survey and are directed to another website, do not feel you have to answer any questions on that site. Many times there will be "fine print" that charges your telephone number for trying a product. In addition to this, keep close tabs on your telephone bill.

- Each time you log on to your computer, clear your cookies.

Participating in paid surveys can be a fun way to earn a few extra dollars, gift cards or discount certificates. Do not expect to "get rich" doing this. And under no circumstances ever pay for the "privilege" of doing a survey.

Careers in Weather You May Find Appealing

Careers in Weather You May Find Appealing
Copyright © Abraham Adam
http://www.UMakeGoodMoney.com

Are you interested in finding a new job or are you looking to change careers? If you are, do you also have a love for the weather or do you enjoy weather watching and tracking as a hobby? If you do, you may want to consider a career in a weather related field. After a close examination, you will see that you have an unlimited number of options.

When it comes to weather related careers, a meteorologist is often the first thing that comes to mind. In fact, many weather enthusiasts aspire to become professional meteorologists. Meteorologists are professionals who have received the proper amount of schooling, which often includes a degree in meteorology. Meteorologists rely on their knowledge and well as radar images and computer models to predict the weather.

When it comes to working as a meteorologist, you will find that you have a number of different options. Radio and television news stations are one of the biggest hirers of meteorologists. When taking this approach, you may find yourself on camera, but you may also simply work behind the scenes. In all honesty, your full job responsibilities will depend on the company in question.

Although we often associate weather related careers with meteorologists, it is important to remember that there are many other career positions and opportunities out there. For example, you may want to have a career as a weather teacher. In this type of work, you will also find that you have a number of different options. For instance, there are many individuals in the United States and all around the world who have a love for the weather and enjoy it as a hobby. For an affordable fee, you can run a local or online weather class. This class can help beginners learn how to track weather, predict it and much more.

In addition to teaching amateur weather enthusiasts how to accurate track weather, you may also be interested in teaching professionally. Although many elementary and high school teachers teach more than weather, you may be interested in this type of work. You may have the best success teaching an earth science class in a high school. If you would like to have your career focus more on weather, as opposed to other science related issues, it may be a good idea to examine college teaching positions. When working as a college teacher, you can help college students receive a degree in meteorology.

Should you decide to teach meteorology, whether it be at the college or high school level, it is important that you take schooling into consideration. To teach in many states, you must have a master’s degree. You may also be required to hold to multiple degrees, including a teaching degree, as well as a degree in meteorology. Although most weather related careers are the same, it is important to remember that you will be unable to get a teaching job overnight, especially without any prior experience or the proper education.

Another one of the many weather related positions that you may find is one that many do not necessarily think of, at least right away. Do you enjoy writing and researching? If you do, you may want to consider having a career as a weather writer. What is nice about working as a weather writer is the options that you have. For example, many newspaper and magazines can use the services of weather writers, on a fulltime basis or on a freelance basis. You can also create your own online weather website. This website can contain updated information on local weather, severe weather, as well as information the impact the weather has on the environment. Your website may be able to make money, overtime from affiliate programs, as well as paid advertisements.

As you can see, you have a number of different options, when looking for a weather related career or job. What is even more amazing is that the weather related jobs outlined above are just a few of the many that exist. You can find more opportunities by examining online job or career searching websites.
